Thirty-some
years ago Martin Litton – writer, conservationist, and pioneer boatman
– came to believe that the most spectacular rivers in the country
deserved more than an ordinary river trip. |

Martin
also chose to take more time than the average river trip. Again, it’s a
matter of respect. You could fly through the river corridor in an hour or
two, but you can’t see it in a lifetime. Like life itself, the point is
not whether you’ve been there, but how. Our trips are fashioned in the old style that Martin perfected – long and leisurely, with plenty of time to explore the beautiful side canyons, float down the river in silence to the next magical spot, or just sit by the river and watch the light change. |
